Friends in Action hours of operation to 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. 

How can we help you?

Services for individuals

TRANSPORTATION

Trained volunteers provide transportation at no charge to registered clients to a variety of destinations.

FOOD & MEDICINE DELIVERY

Food (including meals from free meal programs, food pantries and preordered groceries) and pharmacy orders delivered to the door at no charge.

FRIENDLY VISITS & CALLS

Trained volunteers are matched with individuals to connect on a regular basis for companionship.

CHORES AND SHOPPING

Volunteers can help with building ramps, simple home repairs, other one-time tasks and can do shopping.

group programs for socialization and wellness

Coffee HOUSE

Small gatherings to enjoy coffee and conversation and meet new friends, all at no charge. 

EDUCATIONAL EVENTS

Information on current issues and resources for older adults and their families. 

fitness PROGRAM

Fitness room and group exercise classes for all levels. Various fees apply.

arts & enrichment

Group instruction or discussion on various topics.

LUNCHES

Congregate meals served twice a week, cooked on site, for a minimal charge.
